Ultrasonic Distance Sensor

The Robotica Ultrasonic Distance Sensor measures the distance or presence of a target object by sending a sound wave above the range of hearing at the object and then measuring the time it takes for the sound echo to return. By knowing the speed of sound, the sensor can determine the distance of the object from the transducer element

Infrared emitters Detectors and Sensors

A range of low cost reflective, transmissive and side-looking infra red sensors in component form. Used in applications such as position sensing, object detection and counting, beam breaking and optical encoding
Ideal for those interested in building their own circuit boards.

Merlin Stretch Sensor & Evaluation Kit

The Merlin Stretch Sensor is a new way to measure:
> stretch
> displacement
> compression
> force

The Merlin Stretch Sensor is unique new sensor that is economical, easy to use and lightweight. The Merlin Stretch Sensor comes in numerous shapes and sizes to suit your application
Accompanying the stretch sensor is a new EVALUATION KIT designed to enable rapid demonstration of Stretch Sensor properties, and software including a sample "breath detection mode" which enables respiration rate to be detected when a sensor is positioned around a person's chest.
