The
Elekit Robot Arm
This
five-function robot manipulator trainer is the most complex
and rewarding kit in the range. Not only is it well made and reasonably
powerful, but it is prevented from damaging itself by the use of
clutches on each joint and is constructed in Polycarbonate.
In its basic form it is controlled using a hand held console with
a three-way switch for each function. It has a soft lining to the
gripper jaws which enables it to maintain grip on even smooth, round-section
objects.
This arm is a good representation of the many similar full size
robots in industrial use and corresponds in many ways to the telerobotic
manipulators used on underwater vehicles, in nuclear power plants
and on bomb disposal robots.

As an additional option there is a PC CONTROLLER for the
Elekit Robot arm (software for Windows included) which allows various
levels of control and programming from your PC serial port.

The
Robotica EduBot
100
Edubot is a five-axis open kinematic robotic arm which connects to
the serial port of your computer and is controlled via the Robotica
Control Software. It is designed to teach robotics technology
in the simplest and most entertaining way. You will learn to build,
program and operate a robot step by step with EduBot.
EduBot is not only a robotic arm which can be used to perform
simple pick and place applications; you can also interface EduBot
with other devices to complete a sophisticated robotic system. The
electronics inside allow you to connect sensors, switches, relays,
LEDs etc. to control other devices directly from your computer.
EduBot has a fully modular mechanical design. Two optional
body choices in addition to the standard body ensure that the EduBot
can be mounted on virtually any surface, as well as being used as
a stand-alone robotic arm.
The Robotica Control Software and the electronics are suitable
for radio-modem communication, allowing EduBot to be used in wireless
mobile robotics applications.

The
Robotica EduBot 250
A new version of EduBot with a higher payload and supplied assembled
in either black (B) or white (W) finish. The arm is made of acetyl
and anti-static PVC. All axes are driven by R/C Servomotors and it
is controlled by our R/C Servomotor Controller (optional) and Control
Software. Full command protocol is also supplied for the controller
to allow you to write your own control program or integrate it with
your system. The arm is surface mountable by six screws on the waist
flange which makes it particularly suitable for OEM applications
