Type 43 Series
The type 43 series speed controller is available in 4 versions.The
Electronize 43X and 43VR controllers are designed to cater for the
majority of model applications by covering a wide range of system
voltages and continuous motor load current up to 10 amp. The newer
high power versions, type 43HX and 43HVR speed controllers are designed
to extend their use to include faster and larger models with motors
drawing up to 15 amp. continuous current. The basic design of the
10 amp. controls is retained whilst the power handling components
are uprated.
All operate on the Pulse Width Modulation principle, where the motor
current is switched on and off at high speed. The proportion of "on"
to "off" is varied in order to vary the motor speed. The
electronic controller plugs directly into the receiver with no need
for a servo, resulting in smoother control.
