R/C Servo Controller II

The Robotica R/C Servo Controller II is a PIC micro controller based multi-purpose control device ideal for your robotic applications. It connects to the serial port of your PC and is controlled by the Robotica Control Software, which is supplied free of charge with the product.

The Robotica R/C Servo Controller II features eight R/C servo outputs, two analogue inputs, four digital inputs and three digital outputs, which allow you to control a wide range of external devices in your system. The servos can be controlled by mouse and/or joystick. The controller is fully addressable, therefore up to four controllers can be controlled from one serial port.

Besides the standard 9-pin serial cable connection, The R/C Servo Controller II can also be controlled wire-free up to 100 metres, by upgrading firmware version and using RTCom ® RS232 Radio Modem, both available separately
.

The Servo Controll is programmed from a PC via the serial port and using the
Robotica Servo Controller Software

Software Features
  • Mouse and/or joystick control.
  • R/C servomotors can be controlled either manually or through a program sequence.
  • All the R/C servos are controlled individually. The servos can be activated both consecutively and simultaneously at ten different speeds.
  • All analogue/digital input and digital output states can be observed constantly and controlled by a mouse click on the screen.
  • Different configuration settings for different applications can be created for immediate recall, i.e. servo limits, park position, labels, operational mode, etc.
  • The robot is programmed by the use of easy-to-use and efficient single-character commands.
  • Programming can be carried out in either Design Mode or Record Mode. In Record mode, any change you make on the screen controls is automatically inserted in the text box as program code. You may also edit and save these entries in Design Mode.
  • A comprehensive Help Menu is incorporated within the software.
